Looking after your piece

• Hand wash with warm water and mild soap. It is gentler on glazes and hand-painted details than a dishwasher.
• Avoid sudden temperature changes. Do not move a piece from the fridge or freezer into a hot oven, or pour boiling water into a cold cup.
• Check the piece's page first. Unless a piece is listed as microwave safe, please heat food and drinks another way.
• Sculptures and boxes are decorative. Pieces such as the cathedral, card boxes and cigarette box are not made for food or drink.
• Handle with care. Ceramics can chip or crack if dropped or knocked against hard surfaces.

Every piece is one of a kind

Each piece is made and painted by hand, so small differences in size, shape, colour and glaze are normal and are part of what makes it handmade. I photograph pieces as accurately as I can, but colours can look slightly different on your screen.
